SJR saying "why this generation and not past generations". Its EVERY generation. Like Corey said, it just wasn't talked about. Judy Garland was definitely a great example of that

Any 80’s kid remembers the Corey’s they were everywhere from teen mags, posters, movies, commercials, videos everywhere. This is proof how Hollywood works, Corey was on top of the game at this time. He opened his mouth and black listed, goes to show how this horror show works when it comes to kid actors and adult actors. Keep your mouth shut and play the game, how many kids are still going through this horror even during this day and age, sad to say.😢

I was 6 years old and obsessed w/ Mindy. Had to get my Mickey ears at Disneyland in the color Orange like her mousketeer uniform. Had the lunchbox. The jacket. The poster in my room. I was a fan club member 🤣. I would race home from the bus stop at the end of our street in our neighborhood to get home in time to watch after school. These were different times. Innocence. Monaco media. No cable tv. No cell phones. The fan club would mail back stickers and mini posters and autographed stuff and the day it would arrive in the mail, OMG the excitement. My grandparents surprised me and we went to Disneyland one day and the mouseketeers came out to perform at the carnation restaurant / dance area. I thought I was gonna die. 🤣🤣. . My dad owned a Chevrolet dealership and several of the Mouseketeer cast members, Pop, Angel and a few other bought cars for their parents and my dad got me official signed autographed pictures of them. I was just obsessed. A few years later the obsession turned into horses. We moved into an equestrian planned development and by that time the 1977 all new Mickey Mouse club was off the air. I saw on Etsy someone selling an original lunch box from this era for $65. Amazing someone held onto theirs. Wish I had mine. The memories. I’m 55 as of 2 weeks ago; really makes you feel super old.

I met Mindy in the late 90s and she was pregnant at that time. We worked together at CMI in Sunland Ca. And we also were out on auditions she seen me at auditons back then as we're both blonde and similar age. So the long story is, I was large in my breasts at that time and curvy but I only weighed 120 pounds. But in our sick society I should weighed 80 pounds ..(sickk world) And yet I never claimed to be a model but was singled out more than fatter girls. And women should be supportive of each other, not tearing at each other. No wonder why our society is so crazy and messed up. After all us girls are just bodies and nothing more. Sarcasm. Mindy's boyfriend was also working there and one time we were at this company birthday party for a co worker at a Mexican Restaurant and I was constantly dieting so she had no idea what I was already going through and how I normally ate and I decided to splurge some that night but all I was doing was eating some of the tortilla chips with the sauce they give you before your meal and she remarked out loud "no wonder why she's heavy" and I can't put into words how much that upset me... I was being so nice to her and I had a crush on her brother. I wasn't even bothering her about meeting her brother or anything, i was very respectful. I was curvy then like a hour glass figure and I'm quite slim now, but I was not fat then but I'm slimmer now and I also had liposuction on my hips and thighs that next year later but I just thought , that was so wrong and nasty of her. And her and the other girl's in the workplace constantly talked about losing weight, what to eat, dieting and blah blah blah to each other all night, like a huge abnormal obsession to try to be skinny and seemed VERY insecure. These psychos made me crazy thinking i had to be skinny , skinny. In the end we all go back to nothing, we have a short time on this planet and being born a female in this world is a nightmare. And Mindy was pregnant at that time. Other girls she didn't comment on their bodies and they were not skinny. It's sad women have to be so catty and insecure when another woman was doing nothing but being nice to her. She also rudely honked her horn one time when she was in back of me because I didn't pull into the parking lot fast enough. For her Information, I had full breasts and thick thighs since age 10. I dieted all through my teens and adult life most of the time. Just like all my father's sisters, I was built the same way, it's called genetics. I always had a flat stomach and small waist. I even had eating disorders. For her to run her mouth the way she did. The following year I had liposcution on my thighs and hips as I only weighed 120 pounds at five foot five and almost didn't make it out of the operation. I almost died... and I wanted to have a breast reduction but was told because I have scoliosis , I was told no, they couldn't do it. She was working as a sales agent for mortgage insurance. Every time she called people on the phone and said her name, people would ask her if she is Corey's sister. Strange thing is her boyfriend quit or left or whatever and she than was so nice to me. Just before she left for maternity leave she was being soooo nice. Well, after her out loud rude comment at the restaurant I even stopped saying hi to her but then she suddenly got nice to me.. But she knew from the first time she started working there I admired her brother, She told me I was sweet when I told her how much I was crushing on Corey but I never bothered her to meet him , I stayed very respectul and not aggressive. I could care less about her boyfriend if that was her problem, I liked her brother... Like I was your typical crush on Corey Feldman back in the day. When she started being nice to me I let the comment slide but I was still upset about it. Over the years you see Corey saying how his mom abused him about his weight, well, his sister's apple does not fall far from their mom's tree but I wasn't even fat. If they were abused by their mother, you think she wouldn't do it to somebody else. Right when she was being so sweet she left for maternity leave, never came back. BTW, I still look the same age I was then, thanks to botox.

Sally Jessy Raphael is awful! She interrupts people and sounds almost accusatory at times and she is even dismissive! I never realized how terrible she was. Of course I never watched her so that's probably why I never noticed before. 🤨🙄 Also it really surprises me how Corey has gotten such a bad rap. He has been telling his truth for DECADES! So much stuff has come out in Hollywood recently. I'm surprised he was not put in the forefront again for telling it how it was for all those years! People just didn't want to listen. They rather have predators handling these kids. So scary. Not sure why more wasn't done to protect them.

I absolutely love watching old movies, especially the ones that came out in the early 80's. It takes me back to my childhood memories. I was really young at the time 7 years old in elementary school so I really don't remember those after school special for one thing I guess I was way too young to watch it back then and it seemed like it was more for teenagers to watch but I do remember as a little child in the 80's how my mother use to dress me. The 80's was during a time when life was much simple then. It wasn't any cellphones out, no Facebook, no Instagram, no TikTok, no social media period. The woman knew how to dress back then they wasn't showing their naked behind; the showed class, Families were eating at the dinner table together, Kids would go outside and be kids and play together with their friends and the kids knew to respect their parents at all times. How I miss these days being a young child in the 80's wish that I could go back, but these days are long gone. That's why you should always cherish each and every memory especially when it comes to your family.
